MEGWARE to once again sponsor Chemnitz Linux Days
Chemnitz Linux Days 2016 is an event aimed at speakers, exhibitors, and enthusiasts from the open source community, with “It’s Your Project” as its motto this year. Scheduled to be held on March 19 and 20, 2016 at Chemnitz University of Technology, the spotlight at this 18th session of Chemnitz Linux Days will be on innovative ideas and fun with experiments and making things for the free operating system Linux with the open source community.
As in previous years, MEGWARE will once again be sponsoring the event and participating as an exhibitor. At our stand, visitors will be able to take a look at one of our SlideSX® LC hot water-cooled computing nodes, recently put into operation at the University of Greifswald.
In addition to our hardware-based in-house development, with ClustWare®, we will be showcasing a comprehensive management and monitoring module for the central control and management of a Linux cluster. System-relevant data will be read and the information collected prepared as a graph via a Web GUI and displayed to visitors on a touch display.
Our HPC system engineer Alexander Adam will also be giving a talk on the topic of ‘Build Automation with CMake’ on March 20, at 10:00 a.m. in Room V1. In his talk, Mr. Adam will give a general presentation of CMake and highlight the advantages of its use. In addition to presenting an introduction to the use of CMake, in his talk he will also examine the build configuration, which can be configured either by the user themselves or automatically by the system.
The MEGWARE team warmly invites all those interested to come along to the event.
